Build 72. Lower Seat Belt Harness

Before installing the seats, the lower seatbelt harnesses need to be installed. This is very much the same process as before with the upper harness, except on the sides. I ditched the carboard washer for this part though. I was advised that Caterham do not use Loctite on these and so I simply installed them as per the manual torquing them up to about 47Nm.

I have the red harnesses and as such they are not handed, which means you need to make sure to mount them with the writing up the correct way. The cockpit is starting to take shape nicely now!

After getting a few miles down, I decided that I would upgrade this to a 5 point harness by buying the lower crutch strap. On longer journeys I don't like the way that the harness buckle tends to find its way upwards, so a 5 point will stop this happening.
